Hermes Integration

This is the Google Drive, Docs and Sheets connection for my local Hermes Agent. It lets me ask the agent to find a file, read a document, work with a spreadsheet or make a change I request.

Google asks for broad Drive, Docs and Sheets permissions because the integration supports both reading and writing files. Authorizing it gives the agent access to those services in the account you choose. You can revoke access in your Google Account settings.

How it works

Google OAuth grants access without sharing your Google password with Hermes. Credentials and session history are kept on the computer running the agent. When you ask the agent to work with a file, relevant content may also be sent to the AI model provider configured in Hermes to answer your request.
