Privacy policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

This policy covers the Google Drive, Docs and Sheets connection operated by Maximilian Fellner for Hermes Agent. The website you are reading describes the connection; it does not itself sign in to Google or receive your files.

What the connection can access

With your Google consent, Hermes requests the Drive, Docs and Sheets OAuth scopes. These grant access to files in the Google account you select. The agent can search and read files and, when asked, create, edit, share or delete files. The scopes cover more than a single folder. The connection does not request Gmail or Calendar access.

Why and how data is used

Hermes uses Google data to carry out the tasks you give it, such as finding a document, summarizing its contents or updating a spreadsheet. It is not used for advertising or sold. Relevant file content may be included in requests to the AI model provider you have configured in Hermes; that provider processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. Google processes API requests needed to access your account.

Storage and retention

The OAuth credentials are stored on the computer running Hermes, not on this website. Hermes may also keep local session transcripts and files you ask it to download or create. Those can contain Google data and remain until you delete them. The model provider may retain requests under its own policy; this site cannot control that retention.

Your choices

You can revoke the connection at any time from your Google Account's third-party access settings. On your computer, you can also remove Hermes' stored Google token and delete local session history or downloaded files. Revoking access stops future API calls, but does not erase data already retained in local files or by a model provider.
